Matteo Pellizzoni is a mechanical engineer, graduated from the Politecnico di Milano in the 2002-2003 Academic Year. He completed a thesis on the structural optimisation of a carbon fibre sailing hull and later qualified to practice with a State Exam in Italy, specialising in Industrial Engineering. For over 20 years, he has been involved in the design and verification of industrial products and machinery for heavy industry, integrating the design process with the intensive use of FEM structural simulation tools and CFD calculations.
